Hello

Hello, fellow AHS feminists. I thought I'd help kick off this blog with a short hello and a video clip, which I find delightful and apropos. The clip is actually the ending credits to the wonderful female-revenge flick Death Proof, courtesy of director Quentin Tarantino. I think it makes for an interesting mix of traditional, archetypal female images set to the tune of April March's female-empowerment song "Chick Habbit". Also, I hope to create posts on this blog concerning the representation of females in film, so don't think that my posting of this movie clip is completely random and/or irrelevant. Check it out here.
